A beautiful 19th century woodcarving panel was used to be a part of local construction in ShanXi China. It features sophisticated design of god animal “QiLin” in the center surrounded by flowers and fruits. All small pieces were carved independently and then connected by Mortise-and-Tenon joints. It was well maintained through extensive exposure outdoor for hundred years. This panel will be a beautiful art frame on an open wall.
