Cheongsam, also known as QiPao, was popularized by Chinese upper-class women in early 20th century. It features feminine body-hugging cuts with distinctive Chinese dress features of tall Mandarin collar, large front, Pankou and side slits.
This porcelain QiPao made in JingDeZhen, porcelain capital of China, shows a vivid body shape in QiPao. Red blossom and blue vines scatter elegantly across this high quality ware. Red thread buttons stand out as pretty highlights. This QiPao is very oriental but modern in design. We love it as a nice tabletop decoration by one or as a pair with another pattern (separately listed).
