This photograph was taken in 2015 at Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic located in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhalese kings and is a UNESCO world heritage site partly due to the temple. The temple which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha is one of the holiest shrines in the entire Buddhist world. We were amazed by the beauty of the architectures and lucky to experience the pureness and sanctity of the temple.
